Videography is a skill I am working on more and more. I make it a goal for all forms of my multimedia projects to enhance the story being told by the people in them. All videos were made using a mix of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Issues in Science and Technology is a quarterly journal published by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and Arizona State University. The journal is a forum for discussion of public policy related to science and technology.
Katharine Hayhoe, a climate scientist and expert, talked about the dangers of "pigeonholing" and how categorizing people based on appearances can impede progress. South Padre Island is known for its sea turtles, dolphins, and jellyfish. But not all jellyfish sting, and not all stingers are considered jellyfish.
Jellyfish and jellyfish-like creatures can be found along the shores and shallow waters of South Padre Island. During the summer and fall seasons, jellyfish blooms can stretch for miles, closing down certain beach sectors. This animated video was created using After Effects. Maricopa High School students finish first Engineering course
Aian Pableo and his CTE course (Engineering I) are Maricopa High School's newest additions.
Students learn different disciplines of engineering as an introductory course and will focus their discipline as the courses progress into more advanced curriculum. Pableo hopes his students will pursue an engineering degree after taking his courses. Students shared their experiences and their goals with taking the class, along with comment from CTE Director Mary Poppen about the importance of STEM and STEAM classes in a high school. |

Modern Life Agents begin innovative pilot program at Education at Work

Several students at Education at Work have participated in a pilot program made to enhance the customer experience.
These students discuss the changes in calls and cases, now being taken in English, Spanish, and French. On top of the translator, these EAW students continue to do the job: troubleshooting technical issues for office and various software products. Students of all different majors say they have benefitted from their enhanced training in customer service. |
Video Interview for Helping Paws: Jim Helman & Einstein
Jim and Einstein Helman gave Helping Paws some insight on what they do for the downtown students of Arizona State University.
Einstein is here for students in any kind of distress, who can chat with Jim about any personal problems they may be having while snuggling the emotional support dog. Jim then connects students with counselors, advisers, or anyone else who might be of any kind of help. Jim often encourages students to hold Einstein, connect with counselors and take some snacks with them to class. |
