Before you tell me your story, let me tell you some of mine!Storytelling, in any capacity, has come easily to me ever since I was a young child. My first story, The Mysterious Case of the Missing Fuzzy, is currently framed in my childhood home right next to my first article ever published, ten years later. I have lived in the Phoenix area all my life, growing up in the city of Maricopa. I was raised by a single dad with my two younger siblings, Jacob and Jasmyn. Yes, all J's.
I graduated from Maricopa High School and worked with InMaricopa.com as a part-time reporter. Once I enrolled in college, I began producing for Education at Work, a nonprofit made up of a collegiate workforce. I've gone on to work with several clients through the Cronkite School's Digital Audiences Lab, and earned the opportunity to work for Cronkite News D.C. as election and health correspondence during my Fall 2020 semester. After graduating in 2022, I currently hold my BA in Journalism and Mass Communcation along with a minor in Digital Audience Analysis. |
